How To Section Hair Correctly
The secret to getting beautifully dried & styled hair is sectioning your hair properly before you start. Sectioning your hair first makes drying or styling your hair so much easier & faster.

STYLE TIPS

BIG, BOUNCY WAVES

• Divide your hair into equal sections, between 3cm - 5cm wide, depending on your hair type, thickness & length. The number of sections will depend on how much hair you have & how defined you’d like your waves to be.
• Place the section of hair between the top plate/barrel & bottom barrels & hold the hair firmly for approx 5-10 seconds, depending on your hair type, thickness & length, as well as how defined you’d like the waves to be. Take care not to let the appliance touch the scalp.
• Release the section of hair & re-position the waver so that the next wave section to be styled falls in line with the previous wave section already styled.
• Always work from the root to the tips of your hair. Continue this action down the entire hair section, towards the ends of the hair.
• For a more modern style, keep the ends of the hair section straight & not waved.
• Once the hair has cooled, separate the waves using fingers for a softer look or brush out using a comb.

TEXTURE

• Style your entire hair with the Wonderful Waves, dividing the hair into smaller sections.
• Depending on the length of your hair, you may only need to create 1 or a few sections to style.
